Your preschool child is a reflection of the future!

What they learn and experience now will not only benefit them as they grow older, but will help to mold their future. At this age, children are eager to learn as much as they can about the world around them. Here starts the preparation for an exciting journey to kindergarten.

At Kidz, Ink., we work hard to encourage young minds to grow and learn through independence and creativity. Our program is designed so that each child will experience lots of freedom of choice. During the course of the day, your child will be given ample opportunity to choose from a variety of classroom learning centers, such as art, science, dramatic play, blocks and much more.  Kidz, Ink uses the Core Knowledge Curriculum, which has proven very successful in early childhood development centers across the country in teaching pre-kindergarten skills to the young children. Your child will learn to write using the National “Handwriting without Tears”, Handwriting program that was developed by an Occupational Therapist. Our experienced teachers are exceptional! They are prepared to guide your child to higher learning.

We will teach children practical life lessons that encourage and promote self-esteem. In addition, Kidz, Ink’s low teacher-to-student ratio enables each child to receive the individual attention needed to learn.

The Core Knowledge Preschool Sequence is the result of a long process of research and critical review undertaken by the non-profit Core Knowledge Foundation. The resulting Preschool Sequence represents a synthesis of exemplary practice and experience, both in the United States and abroad
The curriculum was developed by Dr. E. D. Hirsch, Jr., author of Cultural Literacy andThe Schools We Need, and is based on a large body of research in cognitive psychology, as well as a careful examination of several of the world’s fairest and most effective school systems.  Dr. Hirsch has argued that, for the sake of academic excellence, greater fairness, and higher literacy, early schooling should provide a solid, specific, shared core curriculum in order to help children establish strong foundations of knowledge.
